Egbert Schram
Tietoja puhujasta
Egbert Schram is a global authority on cultural analytics and the Group CEO of The Culture Factor Group.
Egbert Schram grew up in a Dutch city that was underwater 50 years ago, was the first in his working-class family to go to university, and spent his early years as a high-level football goalkeeper. He originally set out to join the Dutch Marines, but ended up studying forest management and environmental psychology instead.
That unique background gave him what he calls a ‘forester’s pragmatism’, a way of looking at organizations not as machines to be engineered, but as living ecosystems that require long-term stewardship.
Twenty years ago, Egbert migrated to Finland. Today, he’s known globally as a ‘delicate provocateur’ who uses hard data to bridge the gap between executive intent and the actual lived experience of employees. He has authored for Forbes Business Council, Brainz magazine, spoken at among others CNBC, HRX and HR PRO conferences, and is the author of Navigating Foreignerness, an Amazon Europe top 200 business book on belonging and diversity.
Some of the projects he has been involved include customers and partners such as Noor Bank, Mars, Al Ghurair Group, Viatris, Onlogic, GE Healthcare, Manipal-Cigna, Manipal Health Group, Bayer Nordics, Huhtamaki, Futurice, Mediacom, WPP, P&G, Stanton Chase, Microsoft, BCG, several oil and gas organisations and a variety of governmental and supra governmental institutions.
Egbert functions as the chair of the Amcham Finland advisory board and its strategic international talent working group.
